This child based and evidence informed curriculum is geared towards children ages 4-8 (PreK-2nd Grade) on how to protect themselves from child abuse through a fun, interactive lesson in body safety and empowerment called R.O.A.R. ROAR is an easy to remember acronym that teaches kids the “Rules of ROARing.” Additionally, ROAR is recognized by Erin Merryn, the founder of Erin’s Law, as an outstanding child abuse prevention program resource. The Rules of ROARing are:
R- Remember, privates are private
O- Okay to say no
A- Always talk about secrets
R- Raise your voice and tell someone
