I Miss You All!

Good Afternoon Koepsell Students and Families,
It's hard to believe that a little over a week ago we were at school together and learning. I have missed you all and think about you often. This time is difficult. My granddaughter, Reagan had her third birthday last week and I sang "Happy Birthday" to her on Face Time. I wanted so badly to celebrate with cake and candles and grandma hugs/kisses. These times are not easy.
Be gentle on yourselves. Take care of yourself emotionally and physically.

I read something the other day that I wanted to share with you-
Advice For Parents Homeschooling Their Child(ren) During the Shutdown.
*It's going to be stressful
*If things get worse, you're going to be stressed
*Your kids might be scared of things they have seen and heard
*Arguing with your kids to do the work isn't what we need right now
*Cuddle up together, and read
*Take turns reading, reading and more reading
*Do a puzzle, build a fort out of blankets
*Set up a tent in the living room
*Share photos from when you were a child and talk together
*Get outside-go for a walk-ride your bike
*Don't stress about schooling-or about forgetting some of what your child
learned
*Just spend time together
*It's a difficult time with so many unknowns, but will be a time we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Take care of yourselves and each other.
Love, Mrs. Boehm-Principal of some awesome children and families who are superheroes and who will always triumph!
